About the Job

We are currently looking for Senior Interior Designers with 8+ years experience to join our growing New Orleans and DC based Studio.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and collaborate with clients, project team members and consultants from startup and pre-design through construction and occupancy to program and meet project requirements, vision and goals.
  • Develop high quality design solutions and prepare presentations and documents through schematic design, design development and construction documents phases.
  • Express conceptual ideas quickly through hand sketching and use of basic 3D modeling programs.
  • Create compelling storyboards, design drawings and outstanding graphic presentations.
  • Develop FF&E, color palettes and material presentations from the conceptual phase through specifications.
  • Understand how to advance a project through all design phases from concept to completion.

Qualifications

Required

  • 8+ years of professional work experience at an architecture or commercial interior design firm.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture from an accredited school of design.
  • Extensive knowledge of design, trends, space planning, construction methodology, interior materials and finishes, FF&E and planning codes.
  • Strong technical, creative and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Revit is required.

Preferred

  • Experience in Higher Education, Workplace, Healthcare, Hospitality and/or Mixed-Use projects is a plus.
  • LEED or WELL Accredited
  • Professional license
